Tips
Using pastels in the trigger isn't always required, but it can help with consistency.
Add 'soft pastels' to add texture.
Add 'chalk pastels' to make the background more black and add design elements.
Add 'oil pastels' to achieve a smoother look and more background color.
Changing 'pastels' to 'pastel' can subtly change the effect.
Version Highlights
Compared to v1:
More saturated colors.
Rougher textures.
Less of an anime look.
Capable of more variations.
Pony v1.0
The Pony version was based on SDXL version 2, but has its own look. More details are in the version description.
Version 2
My goal with version 2 was to make a more general pastels style that covered a wider range of styles. This version can make both cartoony and realistic images.
Compared to v1.0, it has more saturated colors, rougher textures, less of an anime look, and is capable of more variations of the pastels style.
Using pastels in the trigger isn't always required, but it can help with consistency. You can also change the look by adding:
soft pastels (can add texture)
chalk pastels (tends to make the background more black and adds design elements)
oil pastels (tends to look smoother and adds more color to the background)
As always, the effects vary depending on the checkpoint you use.
Version 1
This LoRA makes detailed chalk pastel drawings on black backgrounds. The color palette is desaturated, but features a spectrum of colorful gradients. The characters tend to have an anime look; especially people. The black background will show more in simple compositions, but may barely be visible in scenes that cover the background.
add to the beginning:
"chalk pastels drawing of..."
"pastels drawing of..."
"chalk drawing of..."
or these to the end:
"...style of chalk pastels"
"...style of pastels"
"...style of chalk"
Changing pastels to pastel can also subtly change the effect.
